This three-pearl property is a step down from what guests may expect from the typical Decameron hotel, as its furnishings and decor need updates. Although there is a beach across the street, it’s tiny and rocky, and the bigger beaches and nightlife of San Luis are 15 minutes away.  Apart from spaciousness, the 233 rooms are also disappointing, with no tea/coffeemakers or Wi-Fi. Three outdoor pools are popular and the recreation team offers entertainment like karaoke. All-inclusive rates cover a buffet restaurant, drinks, tips, and two dinner restaurants. Note that large groups and late-night music at the on-site disco can make for a rather noisy experience. Closer to downtown San Andres, Hotel El Dorado has nicer rooms and access to a sandy beach.
