Americas Best Value Inn & Suites
425 W Katella Ave

The budget Americas Best Value Inn & Suites is within walking distance of Disneyland attractions, GardenWalk, and restaurants. The 44 rooms, which include Family and Four-Bed Suites, come with flat-screen TVs, microwaves, coffeemakers, and mini-fridges -- and some have big jetted tubs and views of the Disneyland fireworks. But furnishings show a bit of wear and tear, with stained carpeting in some places, and guests have complained about thin walls, and a pervasive smell of cleaning products in the rooms. An outdoor pool, hot tub, and two running fountains surrounded by two stories of rooms take center stage here. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate, along with Wi-Fi. Another budget alternative to consider is the neighboring Castle Inn and Suites.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Anaheim Hills Orange County
201 N Via Cortez

The mid-range Fairfield Inn Anaheim Hills Orange County offers good value for travelers seeking a hotel outside the immediate Disney District but still near the attractions. Adjacent to the Riverside freeway, the hotel is about a 20-minute drive to Disney. A renovated fitness center, a heated outdoor pool, free parking, and a laundry room round out its features. The 163 rooms are spacious and include microwaves, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and free Wi-Fi, but they're reached by motel-style exterior corridors and pick up ambient outdoor noise. For a hotel closer to Disney attractions, travelers could try the Hotel Fullerton Anaheim, which has a shuttle service to Disney and only slightly higher rates.

Anaheim Marriott
700 W Convention Way

The Anaheim Marriott is a huge three-and-a-half-pearl chain property with a convenient location near Disneyland Park and the Anaheim Convention Center. A free shuttle service is provided for easy park access, or guests can walk to the park in about 20 minutes. This property features a spacious, stylishly updated lobby and restaurant/bar serving California cuisine and craft cocktails. The 997 rooms and suites are a little dated and dark, but feature flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. A Starbucks and Marketplace for light lunches and snacks are on-site. Other features include an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and 23 event rooms. Expect fees for Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast. As an alternative, the nearby mid-range Courtyard Anaheim Resort/Convention Center has similar rates and amenities, but includes free Wi-Fi.

Best Western Plus Pavilions
1176 W Katella Ave

The lower-middle-range Best Western Plus Pavilions packs a triple punch of amenities, location, and affordable rates. It’s within walking distance of Disney, the Anaheim Convention Center, and numerous restaurants, making it popular with families and convention-goers alike. Adults (but not children) receive daily vouchers for a free breakfast at the adjacent Denny’s, and free continental breakfast bags are available, too. Its heated outdoor pool with whirlpool is large for a hotel of this size. It also has a gym and business center, laundry room, free Wi-Fi, and valet dry cleaning and laundry. Its 98 rooms come with microwaves, mini-fridges, flat-screen TVs, and coffeemakers but no in-room safes. Another downside: Room access is via exterior corridors. Travelers could also consider the nearby budget-friendly Anaheim Islander Inn and Suites.

Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort
1855 S Harbor Blvd

The Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort is an upper-middle-range family-friendly property located a 15-minute walk or 10-minute drive away from Disneyland Park. The 490 spacious, classically decorated rooms have balconies, flat-screen TVs, and signature beds. Club Rooms have access to a lounge with free breakfast. Otherwise, guests must pay for breakfast in the cafe that also serves lunch and dinner in casual surroundings. There's a hotel bar in the lobby and a marketplace sells grocery items. Features include 14 meeting rooms, a modern fitness center, and a nice outdoor pool surrounded by a spacious stone deck and palm trees. Note that Wi-Fi is not free and there is no spa. Business travelers and couples might prefer The Anabella, which has a spa, but is further away from Disneyland.

Lemon Tree Hotel and Suites
1600 E Lincoln Ave

This modest mid-range hotel attracts Disney-bound families on a budget. It's not as close to the park as many other hotels, but it's just a 10-minute drive to the attractions (and the hotel offers a limited free shuttle). The 91 rooms are homey and a bit dated, but they're all equipped with microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers, plus all have furnished balconies or patios. There's a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as a patio with a barbecue area. The free breakfast gets mediocre reviews. There's not much else here in terms of features, besides a computer and ATM in the lobby and guest laundry facilities. For an alternative closer to Disney, check out Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Anaheim (1 BLK/Disneyland), which also has a restaurant and fitness center.

Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Resort/Convention Center
2045 South Harbor Blvd

The mid-range Courtyard Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is popular with families and business travelers alike, as it’s close to Disneyland and within walking distance of the Anaheim Convention Center. The 153 rooms are clean and spacious, with mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, comfortable beds, and granite and marble bathrooms. The contemporary hotel features a spacious outdoor pool and whirlpool, a fitness center, meeting space, and a 24/7 market. Its bistro/bar serves Starbucks coffee, but breakfast is not included in room rates. Guest laundry facilities are on site, and secure parking is offered at reasonable rates. A good alternative in the immediate area is the mid-range Hyatt Place at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center, which offers a free hot breakfast buffet.

Stanford Inn & Suites
2171 South Harbor Boulevard

Designed with families in mind, the independently owned Stanford Inn & Suites is a solid budget option. With free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a free daily hot breakfast, the property offers great value for guests looking to visit the Disney Parks and other nearby attractions. This hotel is a bit farther from the most popular sites, but there's a shuttle straight to Disneyland for guests without cars (or who don't want to pay for Disneyland parking). Rooms are basic but clean, and there's an outdoor heated pool and on-site laundry facilities.

Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn
1630 South Harbor Boulevard

The Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn is located less than a block from Disneyland's front gates, a convenience that's the main draw for this two-and-a-half-pearl hotel. The 88 rooms are dated, and there are occasional reports of bugs in the bathrooms. But the lobby and breakfast room are clean, and a substantial hot breakfast buffet is included (note there's a mandatory resort fee), and it can be taken on the outdoor terrace. There's an outdoor pool with loungers, along with an adjacent hot tub. Travelers might want to compare rates with the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn -- Mini Suites, which is across the street from Disneyland.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Anaheim Resort
1460 South Harbor Boulevard

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Anaheim Resort is a large, mid-range property a brief walk from Disneyland Resort’s main entrance. The 467 rooms are basic with small bathrooms, but clean, and include coffeemakers and mini-fridges. Features include a heated pool and a whirlpool -- both open year round -- plus a large game room and a cafe/Pizza Hut Express serving breakfast (for a fee) and dinner. The adjacent Panera Bread restaurant also delivers to the hotel, and the hotel’s marketplace sells food and beverages, including alcohol. Rates are attractive, but comparable options exist nearby, such as the mid-range Courtyard Anaheim Resort/Convention Center, which has bigger rooms.
