Located a short walk from Salzburg's old town area, the family-run, budget Hotel Mozart is homey and traditional with a good breakfast. The 33 rooms are reasonably priced, and the decor is comfy and functional, if not exactly elegant. In-room amenities include minibars and flat-screen TVs, but hotel features are thin as there's no on-site restaurant or bar. As an alternative, the Holiday Inn Salzburg City has more tastefully decorated rooms, but it's a little farther from the city center.
