Lakitira Suites
Kardamena Beach

The Lakitira Suites is a quiet, three-pearl property with 51 contemporary, albeit underwhelming, rooms, and a greenery-filled setting by Helona Beach. With little nearby, it's designed for travelers looking to relax on-site, and immaculate outdoor pools, terraces, a private beach, and great dining options make it suitable for such. Although bland, rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, and have flat-screen TVs, kettles, and furnished balconies. The wealth of family fun at the adjacent Latikira Resort & Village is worth considering for those wanting a more activity-packed vacation.

Mitsis Blue Domes Resort & Spa
Tholari

The upscale Mitsis Blue Domes Resort & Spa has a stunning hillside location overlooking the Aegean Sea. While there's not much besides other hotels in the immediate vicinity, the all-inclusive features ensure guests are kept busy and fed on-site. Features include daily entertainment programs, beach access, sports activities, water sports, spa, and fitness center; plus a total of 14 swimming pools. There are also 10 restaurants and six bars (all included in the all-inclusive rates). The 449 modern guest rooms come with minibars and private balconies; some have sea views and/or private plunge pools. There are ample kid-friendly amenities, including playgrounds, shallow pools, and a Junior Club. As an alternative, travelers can also consider Mitsis Norida Beach Hotel which includes a similar list of features with lower rates, though it's not as nicely presented.

Nissia Kamares Hotel Apartments

Likely the best value in Kardamena, Nissia Kameres is a family-run property that offers self-catering apartments to families and couples. Designed in traditionally simple, Greek-island style, the property stays fairly quiet during the high season and offers basic but nice features like a swimming pool (with one adjacent for the kids) and a poolside bar and lounge that serves food and drinks until late. Those looking for the brighter lights of Kos will have a 30-minute drive, but there's plenty to do nearby because of its location in a quiet resort area. For guests wanting to stay in the larger town of Kos but still have the self-catering option, look into the two-pearl Leonidas Hotel & Studios, which also offers an excellent pool.
