Staybridge Suites Hot Springs
103 Lookout Cir

The mid-range Staybridge Suites Hot Springs is a two-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from scenic Lake Hamilton. Suited to extended stays, the hotel has 85 large suites with full kitchens. A full hot breakfast buffet and weekday evening socials with drinks and light fare are Staybridge staples, and are included in the room rate. There's also a fitness center along with an attractive indoor pool and whirlpool that look out on the surrounding area. Travelers might want to also consider the Clarion Resort, which sits right on the lake with a private boat dock and restaurant, and has lower rates.

Lookout Point Lakeside Inn
104 Lookout Cir

The Lookout Point Lakeside Inn is a handsome inn that opened in 2003 on the picturesque shores of Lake Hamilton. This three-and-a-half-pearl property is a popular wedding venue, owing largely to its beautifully landscaped grounds. The 13 rooms are comfortable and individually decorated, and most include balconies or patios with excellent lake views, as well as fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. Its three-course breakfast and afternoon reception featuring wine and homemade treats draw rave reviews, and guests are welcome to use its boat dock and canoe for lake excursions. However, it’s well outside downtown Hot Springs, and rates are often on the high side. For a historic option closer to downtown, consider the upper-middle-range Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast instead.

Best Western Winners Circle
2520 Central Ave

The lower-middle-range Best Western Winners Circle is a well-maintained motel-style property located directly across from the Oaklawn Race Track & Casino. It’s only three minutes from downtown Hot Springs and has several restaurants within a short walk. A diverse mix of tourists frequents this popular, pet-friendly hotel, including motorcyclists and families. Highlights include a free hot breakfast buffet and a seasonal outdoor pool. Its 120 rooms are clean and spacious, with microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. But bathrooms are smallish, and there’s no elevator service to second-floor rooms. Rates are attractive but for a similar price, the nearby Comfort Suites Hot Springs offers spacious suites and free breakfast in a newer property.

Comfort Suites Hot Springs
320 Nash St

There’s much to like about the Comfort Suites Hot Springs, a value property built in 2009 and featuring bright, modern interiors. It’s in a quiet and somewhat secluded spot, but still just seven minutes' drive from downtown Hot Springs. Highlights include a free hot breakfast buffet and an indoor heated pool and whirlpool. Parking and Wi-Fi are free, and there’s over 1,400 square feet of meeting space. Its 93 suites are clean, spacious, and nicely equipped, with microwaves, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and sleeper sofas. Some suites even have two-person whirlpool tubs. Rates are attractive, given all that’s included. A viable alternative with slightly lower rates is the lower-middle-range Best Western Winners Circle, which also offers a free full breakfast.

Clarion Resort on the Lake
4813 Central Ave

The mid-range Clarion Resort on the Lake -- with a private boat dock and a large outdoor pool overlooking the water -- makes the most of its spot on Lake Hamilton. Located off the main road, the hotel is somewhat secluded, about a 10-minute drive to town. The property is a bit dated, and that comes across in its 151 rooms, though they offer microwaves and mini-fridges and many have lake views. Home to a popular sports bar and restaurant, the Clarion Resort also includes a fitness center, a guest laundry, and free parking. Its attractive rates, coupled with a scenic location and spacious meeting facilities, make the Clarion Resort a solid choice for tourists and those attending conferences and business retreats. Travelers seeking a newer property could consider the nearby Staybridge Suites Hot Springs, but rates will be slightly higher.

Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast
2009 Park Ave

The upper-middle-range Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast has a secluded, five-acre setting adjacent to Hot Springs National Park, just the right ambience for a romantic getaway (especially since no children under 12 are allowed). The lovely, peaceful grounds have beautiful landscaping, yet the property is only a six-minute drive to downtown Hot Springs. Built in 1910, the inn showcases many original features, such as stone fireplaces and hardwood floors. Breakfast is a highlight, and free drinks and homemade snacks are offered in the afternoon. Its five spacious suites are individually decorated in antique-style furnishings that could either be read as charming or overly fussy. They include modern amenities like whirlpool tubs and large walk-in showers. Those with young children could check out the residential-style suites at the Staybridge Suites Hot Springs, next to Lake Hamilton.
