Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park
Qesm Sharm Ash Sheikh

The 180-room Sea Gardens offers a relaxing beach retreat for families, with all-inclusive dining and nearby sandy shores with coral reefs for snorkeling. Guests have access to features at two sister properties, and on-site amenities include a lagoon pool with kiddy pool, buffet restaurant and 24-hour bar, and kids' club with disco. Guest rooms are spacious and bright, with separate bedrooms for kids, and balconies or terraces with pool views -- although bathrooms are a bit of a letdown. While the quiet setting may not offer enough live entertainment for some adult guests, there is plenty on offer at the sister hotels. Wi-Fi, however, is inconsistent.

Parrotel Beach Resort
Nabq, P.O. Box 180

The 331-room Radisson Blu Resort, Sharm El Sheikh is an upscale haven on a private beach, with features suited to families and couples. The resort offers all-inclusive options and a slew of amenities, including a diving center, three pools, a spa with grotto hot tub, and a kids' club. There are five international restaurants and bars with beachside dining, plus nightly entertainment. Guest rooms are clean and charmingly decorated, if not up to advertised five-star standards; some have balconies and sea views. However, service can be slow in the restaurants, and, as is the case with many nearby properties, there is Wi-Fi in the lobby but not in all rooms. Prices are extremely competitive for this caliber of property; in Nabq Bay some prefer the Oriental Resort Sharm El Sheikh, but it's typically a bit pricier.

Coral Sea Aqua Club Resort
El-Salam

The 212-room Coral Sea Aqua Club Resort provides an upscale family-friendly beach vacation, with plenty of fun activities: four pools, multi-lane slides, a wave rider, and a lazy lake. There are also a spa, a kids’ club, on-site shops, casual buffet dining, and 24-hour cocktails. Sleek, modern rooms have flat-screen TVs and balconies or terraces; some have private pools. Beach access, however, is a bit of a trek through the sister hotel. For rooms closer to the beach, try the Sensatori Sharm El-Sheikh by Coral Sea.

Laguna Vista Beach Resort
Laguna Vista

The 370-room Laguna Vista Beach Resort provides a fully equipped luxury vacation on Nabq Bay’s shores, with plenty of activities and dining options for couples and families seeking a fun-filled beach vacation. The 370 guest rooms are casually stylish, with natural fabrics, rattan furnishings, and balconies. Features include poolside cocktails and beachside dining, a spa with heated pool, and four outdoor pools, including a kiddy pool. There are also a Bedouin tent and entertainment amphitheater. Furnishings, however, are somewhat outdated, and there’s a Wi-Fi fee. The Cleopatra Luxury Resort offers modern rooms and free Wi-Fi, but rates may be higher.
