The lobby is simple but fresh, with a light wood reception desk, tables and chairs, and a massage chair that wouldn't look out of place in a nail salon.

Danny's hotel is located in a quiet area of Alykanas, near other hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and bike rental shops. Both the beach and the town center take about 10 minutes to reach by foot. The town of Zakynthos takes 20 minutes to reach by car and the Zakynthos Airport takes half an hour. The surrounding views are predominantly of the rugged mountains that characterize the island.

Bathrooms are small, with marble vanities with large mirrors, and showers are of the small curtainless variety common in Greece (essentially just a porcelain pan with a drain and a handheld showerhead). Some showers have yet to be renovated, and some guests complain of poor drainage, smells, and inconsistent cleaning.
