Welcoming and cozy, with plenty of seating
Decorated with dark woods, the lobby is warm and welcoming, with multiple fireplaces and lots of small rooms and cozy nooks for reading and relaxing. Free coffee and snacks are provided. The reception desk is small and tucked into a separate room, but it's located right by the front door. The main dining room, where breakfast and dinner is served, is right off the lobby.

On a hill just above North Conway Village
Stonehurst Manor is just uphill from the main shops and restaurants of North Conway Village. The road leading up to the property is dotted with condominium townhouses that the Stonehurst rents out to longterm visitors. The manor itself feels quiet and secluded, and is surrounded by trees. It's convenient to both the small downtown area and nearby ski resorts and golf courses. The only downside is that -- because of its hillside location -- walking to and from the manor can be challenging, unless you're a strong hiker and don't mind trudging through winter snow.
