This beachfront value property is housed in a cream Georgian row house with a green iron fence wrapping around the ground floor and a green balcony railing that extends across the entire building. Like most similar properties in the area, interiors are largely old-fashioned and filled with lots of busy patterned carpet, floral accents, and classic wooden furnishings. The result can feel dated, but attractive touches of the Georgian aesthetic still linger in oval gilded mirrors, crystal chandeliers, and staircase with a thick wooden banister that leads up to the rooms. The outdoor terrace with sea views and homey lounge with a fireplace are particularly pleasant spaces. This is a great hotel for large groups of people (the hotel specializes in bus tours) and dog owners who want to bring their furry friends with them (for a fee).

The Clarence House Hotel is located next to South Beach in the town of Tenby in southwestern Wales. Being in the downtown area, most of the local Tenby attractions are within a 10-minute walk. The Tudor Merchant's House, a replica of what the house of a 15th-century merchant would have looked like at the time, is a five-minute walk away. The Tenby Lifeboat Station, a boathouse with two lifeboats and an informational room on them, is an eight-minute walk away. The Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is a nine-minute walk away. The Tenby train station is 10 minutes away by foot. There's no on-site parking.
