The Woodstock Inn is one of the most outstanding properties in Woodstock, with beautiful, manicured grounds, quintessential Vermont architecture, a gorgeous LEED-certified spa, wonderful fitness and wellness amenities, solid dining options, and a great location in a quiet pocket in the heart of the village. But not all have fireplaces, and some bathrooms are unimpressive for the price.
Location
In a quiet location by the Woodstock Country Cub, but in the heart of the action
The Woodstock Inn and Resort is set in an idyllic location across the street from the village green, adjacent to the Country Club, and close to Suicide Six ski area. This part of town is pretty quiet, but restaurants and stores are just a stroll or quick drive away.Woodstock has a reputation for being one of the most picturesque towns in the country, and is a great destination for the active traveler. Skiing, canoeing, fishing, and swimming are the most popular activities, and there are some wonderful trails around town, most of which have beautiful views. One of the main draws is Suicide Six, a family-friendly ski resort (despite its name) with slopes for every level. There’s no major airport nearby, so the tourism is mainly local, with lots of well-heeled families, couples, and seniors.- 1-hour-40-minute drive to Burlington International Airport
