The Trailside Inn is a bit of a contradiction, in a good way. It looks (and smells) brand spanking new, with gorgeous pine wood floors throughout and new furniture. Yet there's still a rustic, lodge-like vibe here -- there are no TVs in the rooms, and the surroundings are, in a word, tranquil. It lacks the quirkiness of a B&B (which some will appreciate), and instead favors a cleaner, less cluttered look. It's a good choice for couples looking for some alone time in a secluded setting.
Location
In a quiet corner of Killington, a drive away from anything
The Trailside Inn is just off a main road, adjacent to the Green Mountain National Golf Course. The surroundings are typical of this area -- serene, peaceful, and at most times sleepy. It's about a 10- to 15-minute drive downtown to Killington's restaurants.- 1-hour-40-minute drive to Burlington International Airport
