The Bed and Breakfast Venezia is located in the residential neighborhood of Santa Elena, which is filled with many locals and few tourists. It's a 20-minute walk from San Marco, outside of the historic core and near a Vaporetto stop. It is a five-minute Vaporetto ride from the tourist center and one Vaporetto stop away from Lido, which offers a variety of restaurants and bars -- not to mention the only beach in Venice.

They are painted a cheery color and have flat-screen TVs, lace curtains, and small but modern en-suite bathrooms. The room we viewed had traditional, homey decor details including an attractive hanging light fixture and an oriental rug. The garden room also includes a balcony.
