The lobby has tall ceilings, marble floors and columns, an ornate fireplace, and opulent chandeliers. Other common areas are just as grand -- guests love eating breakfast in the Salone Marco Polo, an exquisite space with frescoes on the ceiling and walls. Canova, a formal on-site restaurant, is even popular with local Venetians. The fancy café has a full bar and serves pastries as well.
