There’s also an open business center area with public computers, a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, and a bar area for those who wish to work. Though the property has a modern design, guests have varying reports on the quality of cleanliness and maintenance throughout. Despite this, it still draws a mix of travelers who just need a night or two at the property before making their way to or from the airport.

As for the immediate area, there are a handful of restaurants (like a McDonald's) within a 10-minute walk, and a bus stop outside the hotel. The closest train stop is a 15-minute walk. Downtown Vancouver is about a 20-minute drive from the property. The Langara Golf Course takes 10 minutes to reach by car. It’s a 13-minute drive to Iona Beach Regional Park.

Guest rooms were refurbished in 2017 to reflect a contemporary style of gray carpet, white beds with wooden headboards and gray padding, and dark accent colors. All units include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, safes, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. Wi-Fi is free, but reportedly spotty. Only upper-level rooms have microwaves. The Suites are equipped with separate living rooms, dining tables, and kitchenettes with sinks, microwaves, and mini-fridges. Bathrooms are standard -- though some sinks are more modern than others. Earth E toiletries, hairdryers, and shower/tub combos or showers are provided. Though the rooms are renovated, guests still note that they can have cleanliness and maintenance issues.
