Renovated in 2006, the three-story building is noted for its regal landscaped courtyard at the center of the property. There are spaces to sit and drink around the lively fountain area, a lush Mediterranean garden with palm trees and well-manicured shrubbery, and a terrace overlooking it all -- a wonderful place to spend long summer nights. Adding a bit of whimsy, colorful plastic teddy bears adorn the grounds. A small, circular lobby has large chandeliers, high ceilings, and warm gold-yellow tones. Still, it's a bit removed, so those wanting fast access to the old city might prefer to take a taxi or metro (about a 10-minute ride). The beach is about 20 minutes away. Though it's a quiet neighborhood, the Estadio De Mestalla football stadium is just across the street, and home games draw loud crowds.
