The setting is quiet and serene, offering a peaceful respite from the hectic city streets, and there are many walking paths leading from the hotel grounds. The vast lobby is sleek and minimalist, with beige-tile floors, black-panel accent walls, and leather armchairs clustered in seating areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of natural light, and potted plants add a touch of greenery. Business travelers make up most of the weekday clientele, while tourists take over on the weekend. The Westin offers packages with visits to the Toronto Zoo and Ontario Science Center, making it especially popular with families.

The color palette consists of earthy beiges and soft grays, which complement the warm tones of the furniture. A few framed photographic prints hang over the beds adding an artistic touch, while several lamps provide soft mood lighting. Overall, it's an inviting look, although a few details like leather ottomans are edging toward dated.All rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, digital music players, mini-fridges, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and irons and ironing boards. In-room Wi-Fi is free only for members of the Starwood Loyalty Program (SPG), though the program is free to join. Bathrooms are fitted with roomy walk-in showers, as well as shower/tub combos with rainfall showerheads, rectangular sinks, gray marble countertops, magnifying mirrors, hairdryers, and toiletries.
