location, in a business port far away from
the center of Thessaloniki, is not well-suited for tourists so it may be worth comparing rates with City Hotel

A business-minded hotel
The hotel offers business travelers and
budget-minded tourists an affordable stay away from the hustle
and bustle of the center of town. The large lobby is classical in design, with a
wooden front desk, gold chandelier, and pillars and plants. There are also
small lounge areas by the front door that offer monochrome seating. The conference rooms are very large, light and airy, with
wooden vaulted ceilings, lending it the feel of being in a converted barn. There's a relaxed vibe in the P-Bar and the classically designed Zaytinya is popular with business travelers -- who don't have time to investigate restaurants further away in the city center.

Short drive to Thessaloniki State Museum of Contemporary Art, Church of Panagia Chalkeon, and Aristotelous Square -- but far from the city center
Situated at the New Port, the
hotel is not within walking distance of Thessaloniki city Center. That said, the hotel
provides a mini bus to the city three times a day. It’s a 10-minute drive to
the Museum of Contemporary Art and a 20-minute drive to Thessaloniki
International Airport.There are some shopping and
entertainment districts which can be found within an approximately five-minute
walk, but to see the sights and sounds of Thessaloniki you have to take a taxi
to the bus and rail station, or walk there in half an hour.

Rooms are tastefully decorated in calm and muted earthy colors,
with hints of gold and wooden furnishings. Guest rooms,
Superior rooms, and Presidential Suites are offered at the hotel. Though
generally pleasant, there are some dated features such as clunky wood furniture
and tube TVs. Standard amenities include safes, coffee/tea makers, minibars,
and modern bathrooms. Presidential Suites have sitting areas. Some windows have
unattractive views. The Presidential Suite is chic, with wood
floors, a stylish sitting area, two showers, bathrobes, slippers, and a wide
range of pillow choices. A pleasant perk is the free welcome chocolates and
bottle of wine upon arrival. Pets are allowed for a fee. All rooms are
non-smoking.

24-hours, but it is large and well-equipped, with treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, weights,
a sauna, and a whirlpool. The URSA Minor pool is chic and
located on the rooftop where cocktails and snacks are served. The hotel is a good pick
for a wedding venue with the choice of a rooftop celebration or party in one of
the massive halls -- the Grand Pietra Hall being the biggest hotel hall in
Macedonia. But overall the hotel has a business feel, with numerous meeting rooms and a restaurant that serves an extensive breakfast buffet.
