The reception area is spacious, with multiple seating areas and dark-brown walls, green accent walls with stenciled tree designs, and lots of potted plants that give it an outdoor vibe. There's a large area off to one side with books and magazines for borrow, long benches, and rattan chairs matched with coffee tables. The hotel attracts a range of travelers, from backpackers to families, and while there is a meeting room for up to 30 people, not many business travelers stay here.

The hotel is set back from Ao Nang's main road -- a two-minute walk away -- in an area surrounded by jungle but otherwise dominated by other hotels and resorts. The beach is a three-minute walk from the resort. It's a 20-minute drive to Krabi Town and a half-hour drive to the Tiger Cave Temple. Railay Beach, popular with rock climbers, can be reached in about 20 minutes via long-tail boat. It's a 40-minute drive to the Krabi Airport and a bit more than two hours to Phuket International Airport. 

The hotel offers three room types: Standard, Superior, and Family Room. All have similarly modern decor, featuring sleek lines, muted color schemes and dark-wood furniture. Colorful accent pillows and stenciled tree patterns on the walls add playfulness to the rooms. Superior Rooms and Family Rooms have a touch more pizzazz, due to accent walls behind the beds with patterned woodblock designs; Family Rooms have second sleeping rooms with bunk beds for kids. All rooms have air-conditioning, safes, mini-fridges, kettles, and balconies with tables and chairs. Compact bathrooms are standard regardless of room type -- they have blue, green, and off-white color schemes, vessel sinks, toiletries, and walk-in glass showers.

The rectangular swimming pool is plain and uninspiring by local standards, though it does have plenty of tables, chairs, and lounge chairs, and a separate kids' area. The bright Pool Terrace restaurant has a free buffet breakfast, and some fast-food style offerings for those who want to eat poolside during lunch. Airport transfers and local excursions can be arranged through the front desk. Kids under 12 stay free, although there's a fee for breakfast. Other hotel features include free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi throughout the property, and laundry service.
