Scene
Stylish hotel with Baron Edmund de Rothschild at its core
This luxury boutique isn't shy about keeping Baron Edmund de Rothschild close to its heart. Considered a Zionist visionary, Rothschild is known for playing an invaluable part in building up Tel Aviv. The hotel's unmissable style -- blue periwinkle walls, distressed black floors, vintage furniture, and metallic touches -- tap into an industrial and contemporary state of mind. The pale yellow building with white trim feels residential and classic, while the interiors play to darker colors and have a slight edge. The reception area is a casual bar space with backlit numbers decorating the wall behind the desk. The air is slightly perfumed, worn leather seating rests in the lobby area, and gorgeous metallic light fixtures drop from the ceiling. Kids must be at least 11 years old to stay here.
