The 244-room Westin Tampa Bay is an upscale, waterfront hotel on Rocky Point Island and close to the airport. Stylish, sunlit rooms offer minibars, iPod docks, and coffeemakers with Starbucks coffee as well as modern bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers and soaking tubs. Some rooms also offer splendid ocean views, kitchenettes, fitness equipment, and free continental breakfast. The hotel's Aqua restaurant serves seafood in a stylish space, and there's an on-site Starbucks. The beach is small and gets highway noise, but there's a lovely indoor pool and hot tub, as well as a modern fitness center open 24-hours. lots of windows covering its facade and offering great bay views throughout the hotel. The open and bright
lobby is filled with natural light courtesy of large windows and has sleek, wood paneled walls and contemporary furnishings that include pale green armchairs
and couches arranged in small seating areas. A
few beach items like coral and weathered wood also decorate the area, and free newspapers are on hand, plus potted plants and flowers add a pop of color.Aqua, the on-site
restaurant and bar, has waterfront views, an open kitchen, and a beautiful walk-in
wine cellar with a chef’s table. A blue carpet covered in wavy patterns, white modern light fixtures,
and green leather chairs also adorn the area, and there are floor-to-ceiling
windows for ample natural light. At the bar, a blue countertop and leather chairs add to the beach theme, while flat-screen TVs are mounted on the
walls. The on-site Starbucks has floor-to-ceiling windows illuminating the
space along with a few wood tables and black chairs for seating. At the upper
level Westin Executive Club, tan armchairs and wood tables fill the seating areas
and there is free coffee, tea, and newspapers. The rooftop terrace offers panoramic ocean views and is filled with black wicker chairs and couches.

International Airport are a five-minute drive from the hotel, while
International Plaza and Bay Street, Raymond James Stadium, and George M.
Steinbrenner Field are a 10-minute drive away. Tampa Convention Center, Amalie
Arena, and the Port of Tampa are a 15-minute drive, and Busch Gardens can be reached in 25 minutes.

and there are large windows filling the spaces with lots of natural light. Coffeemakers with
Starbucks coffee sit on top of cherry wood furniture, while fully-stocked
minibars are tucked inside. Mounted to the walls are 37-inch flat-screen TVs, plus all rooms have iPod docks, electronic safes, and free newspapers. Some
rooms also have fitness equipment and jack packs to hook computers
up to the TVs. Additionally, some rooms include a free continental breakfast
and free bottled water; others have kitchenettes and marvelous ocean
views. Microwaves and mini-fridges are by request only and for a fee. Large, modern bathrooms have lighted mirrors and offer both walk-in rainfall showers as well as tubs. Bathrobes and Heavenly Bath

few wooden chairs adorn the lovely indoor pool area, and there is a small hot tub
with blue tile as well. Access to a small beach is provided, with a few white
lounge chairs for seating and boat and wave runner rentals, but guests complain the area gets highway noise. The hotel is
pet-friendly, and dogs receive a welcome kit (waste bags, rubber gloves, food, and
water bowls) in addition to a Heavenly Dog Bed; however, only dogs under 45
pounds are allowed. A free airport and area shuttle is provided, but the area
shuttle only travels to specific locations. Free Wi-Fi is only available in the
common areas and in-room for SPG members; non-members must pay a daily fee for
in-room access. Additionally, all on-site parking incurs a daily fee.
