The plaza is Sonoma's main square, with many restaurants, shops, and galleries surrounding it, all easily accessible on foot. The main attraction in the area are Sonoma's wineries, and though most require a short drive, there are some that can be reached by bike (the inn supplies free bikes), such as Ravenswood Winery, Buena Vista Winery, or Bartholomew Park Winery. Santa Rosa is a 40-minute drive away, and the San Francisco Airport is within
an hour-and-a-half drive.

carpeting underfoot a bit rough on bare feet. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, free Wi-Fi, and welcome snacks, but lack tea- and coffee-making facilities. Some also have fireplaces filled with candles or shaded porches. The green
