Its 156 studio and one-bedrooms apartments are all modernized with kitchens and balconies -- many with excellent sea views -- though the lack of free in-room Wi-Fi is a disappointment. Indoor and outdoor pools, buffet and a la carte dining, and cycling tours led by former cyclist champion Stephen Roche are also highlights. Direct access to a small rocky cove is a real bonus, although the beach isn't ideal for swimming, and the hotel lacks a spa.
