Scene
Small and modern hostel with relaxed and friendly atmosphere
Fisher BnB is housed in a two-story converted shop house. The lobby is a small area with a typical hostel feel. There's a large world map on the wall, a chalkboard listing the hostel's services, a computer station, a tourist pamphlet stand, and a wooden bench with cushions. A freezer case holds ice cream for sale. There's also a bench on the small patio outside the front entrance. Like many hostels in Asian countries, guests are required to leave their shoes in the lobby (a shoe rack is provided). The downstairs hallway includes a large wall section where previous guests have signed their name and left a message or drawing. Otherwise, the hallway walls, floors, and stairs feature a rather cold industrial concrete vibe. The common area, with bookshelves packed with travel books and board games, sofa, and flat-screen TV for chilling out, is a favorite place among guests. Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with the features geared towards backpackers and budget travelers.
