Mulberry Boutique Hotel

Although it's located close to the bustling night market and Pub Street, this little place is a quiet oasis filled with tropical greenery and flowers. Guests are welcomed with a cold drink at check-in seated on a bench in the small, open-air lobby. Cushy sofas and a hanging swing provide a place where guests can hang out, and ceiling fans swirl overhead. The setting is laid-back and relaxing, and short walkways through the property pass lush trees and plants. The most popular spot for hanging out is by the lovely pool and the adjacent bar. The Mulberry attracts all sorts of travelers, including couples, families, individuals, and groups. 

This hotel is centrally located amid many restaurants and bars, less than a 10-minute walk from lively Pub Street and the night market. The Lucky Mall also can be reached in 10 minutes on foot, and the Angkor National Museum is about a 20-minute walk. The temples of Angkor Wat and the international airport are both about 20 minutes away by car. 

Rooms are contemporary and colorful, decorated in an eclectic style that features traditional Cambodian touches and elements of Thai style. Beds are on low platforms and are covered in white linens with mostly neutral bed runners and accent pillows. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning supplemented by ceiling fans, minibars, safes, kettles for tea and coffee, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are modern, but basic, with hairdryers, toiletries, and robes and slippers. The two-level Family Suites have twin beds plus day beds downstairs, as well as double beds and second bathrooms in lofted areas. The terraces on the ground level have direct access to the pool in these units, and second floors have balconies overlooking the pool. The Garden Suites have king-size beds and large outdoor spaces with open-air showers and tubs. A separate wooden bungalow is a lovely space mixing Khmer and Thai styles overlooking the garden. It's ideal for honeymooners. 

The hotel's attractive open-air restaurant serves Asian and Western fare for all meals, including a free a la carte breakfast. Guests can select continental, international, or Asian dishes. The setting is lovely, with a bamboo wall and lots of tropical greenery. White tablecloths add elegance, as do the overhead chandeliers and red light fixtures. A bar by the pool is a cozy space with cushy seating and colorful artwork. 

The long rectangular pool is nestled between the buildings and surrounded by a stone deck with lush greenery and flowers. It's a peaceful oasis with day beds at one end and lounge chairs at the other. Several of the hotel's suites have their own terraces with seating adjacent to the pool. Massages and other spa treatments are offered in guest rooms, but there is no proper spa. 

Guests who book directly through the hotel receive a number of freebies, including airport pick-ups, minibars, laundry services, local phone calls, and welcome fruit platters on arrival. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property for all guests.
