The bustling tourist core of this lively little town is a bit farther, and destinations like Pub Street, the Old Market, and the Night Market can be reached in a 10-minute walk, or just a couple of minutes by tuk-tuk. The Angkor temples are a 15- to 20-minute drive from the hotel, and the international airport is 15 minutes in the other direction by car (naturally it takes a bit longer by tuk-tuk).

Spacious rooms have traditional details that -- while well-kept -- can't help but look a bit tired. Wood features heavily, with wooden floors and solid teak furniture, including ornate teak beds. They are bright, but the look is old school and dated. Mod cons include air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and TVs (most rooms have 40-inch TVs; those that don’t will be upgraded, so check ahead if this matters to you). Electric kettles and minibars are also provided. Bathrooms, though spacious, are dated as well. All feature separate tubs and showers, plus hairdryers, robes, and slippers. Deluxe Rooms are a generous 450 square feet (42 square meters) and come with the option of twin, double, or triple bed configurations, and small balconies with pool or area views. The top floor is exclusively reserved for Club Classic Rooms (570 square feet / 53 square meters), which have far larger balconies. Executive Suites have separate living rooms and minor benefits like express check-in and welcome drinks. It's worth noting that some previous guests comment on occasional downsides like broken air-conditioning and traffic noise in road-facing rooms.
