The two-story neoclassical mansion sits on several acres of lush, manicured gardens. There's a large outdoor swimming pool that sparkles in the sunshine and lounge chairs to relax in near a grove of olive trees. Indoors, black-and-white tiles cover the floor of the lobby, while a pretty staircase leads to the arched doorways of the second floor. The bed-and-breakfast is located on private gardens without many neighbors, so guests can expect lots of privacy -- but also a drive to the nearest restaurants and shops, which are located around seven miles away in Castelvetrano. The world-famous archeological ruins of Selinunte are close by, as is the Belice Nature Reserve, which has protected waters and great animal watching. The coast of Mazara del Vallo in Memphis is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. It is about an hour from the Birgi Airport by car.

There are just a handful of rooms on two floors inside the B&B Villa Sogno Charme e Relax Selinunte and each is uniquely decorated with antique furniture and bold color palettes, plus modern amenities that include flat-screen TVs, air conditioners, and minibars. Two of the rooms have Arabic decor, complete with gauzy fabric hanging from four-poster beds and ornate Moroccan rugs scattered throughout. Bathrooms have showers and single sinks with decor to match the bedrooms. One oddity is that the minibars are stored in the bathrooms. The opulent decor, which includes animal print bed covers in some rooms, might not be to everyone's taste.
