Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park

The Sea Gardens is the smallest hotel in the Sea Group Resorts, but it delivers relaxation in a big way. It tends to host families wanting a low-key, all-inclusive experience. Salmon-colored, two-story buildings are spread throughout the property, which has manicured gardens, green lawns, ponds, palm trees, and views of the sea and Tiran Island. Two minutes away is a private beach at the sister resort, with woven umbrellas, lounge chairs, showers, and a private pier. 

The on-site, sleek lagoon pool -- with a nearby kiddy pool, rock waterfall, and wooden bridge -- is surrounded by a clay-colored stone deck lined with striped lounge chairs and cocktail tables shaded by wooden umbrellas. A tattoo stand, DJ booth, and ping-pong table are on the pool deck, which offers views of Tiran Island. Charming, turquoise tables and chairs sit on the patio outside the reception area, which is bright and spacious with a domed ceiling, white and blue stone floors, basic brown chairs, and colorful modern paintings on the walls. Guests of Sea Gardens also have access to facilities at the sister hotels, the Sea Life and Sea Club. One free voucher is provided to the Aqua Park, with adult and kiddy slides, and a wave pool.

Located in Nabq Bay, the Sea Gardens is about a five-minute walk from the beach, which is accessible through the sister hotels, the Sea Club and Sea Life. However, there aren’t any shops or restaurants in close walking distance -- taxis are available from the hotel. SOHO Square -- with shopping, dining, and bowling -- is about 10 minutes away by car, and the Sharm Old Market is about a half-hour drive. Naama Bay is about 20 minutes by car, and the airport is about a 10 minutes' drive. ATV desert tours, camel rides, boat trips to Tiran Island, and star-gazing excursions can be arranged on-site.

The Sea Gardens offers standard suites and Family Rooms with classic wood furniture, neutral tile floors, and colorful Egyptian pictures on the walls. Rooms and suites are designed to accommodate families with children, as each has a separate bedroom and living room with comfy sofa-bed -- wooden doors divide the two spaces. Each Family Room has a TV, safe, mini-fridge with free bottled water, coffee/tea facilities, bathrobes, and slippers. Balconies or terraces are in all rooms and suites; they have sliding glass doors, clay-colored tile, patio-style furniture, and pool and/or garden views. Some rooms have outdated furnishings, including tube TVs. Clean, modern bathrooms have bidets and stall showers. Fun towel designs and strewn flower petals are charming extra touches. 

Guests won’t go hungry with an all-inclusive on-site buffet restaurant and 24-hour lobby bar, plus a poolside bar, and more dining and cocktail options at the two sister hotels, which serve everything from Japanese to Lebanese/Egyptian cuisine. A kids' club is on-site with a playground, while kid-friendly entertainment is offered in the evenings at sister hotels’ amphitheaters. The on-site game room has pool tables, air hockey, and arcade games. The clean spa -- at sister resort Sea Club -- has treatment rooms, a whirlpool, sauna, steam room, Turkish bath, and beauty salon. The bright on-site gym is very small, but has a handful of cardio and weight-training machines, as well as free weights. The nearby coral reef provides prime snorkeling adventures, and there's a beach volleyball court, too.
