The four-pearl Ribera de Triana Hotel is located in the
Triana district right on the Guadalquivir River. Major attractions and public transportation are within walking distance. Rooms are
updated, but modest, and some have terraces and/or views of the river and city.
Upgraded rooms have perks like jetted tubs and coffeemakers.
Although the fitness center is small, it offers a good size hot tub, steam
bath, and massages, and the hotel is pet-friendly (only small dogs and they
incur a daily fee). One of the major highlights is the seasonal rooftop pool and
bar area with exceptional views and lots of seating. Free Wi-Fi is available
and there is on-site parking, but for a daily fee.
Scene
Modern hotel with rooftop terrace and pool
Lots of natural light floods the interesting
(and somewhat odd) interior at the Ribera de Triana Hotel. Zigzag tile
floors, modern armchairs, and a triangular open area makes the design stand
out. Hallways are bathed in red while the breakfast
buffet area is plain with white chairs and tan floors. The on-site
restaurant/bar has contemporary gray, square chairs, wood and tile flooring,
and uses the space well. Up on the rooftop terrace -- which has amazing river and
city views -- there’s a seasonal pool and bar, Level 5th, as well as
unique white furniture. A comfortable and relaxed vibe flows throughout and
much of the artwork consists of large horse photos. Free newspapers are
available in the lobby and there is some nice green space that surrounds the
hotel. Additionally, a dock is provided for guests to arrive by boat.
Location
On the river in the picturesque Triana district of Seville
The Ribera de Triana hotel sits on the
Guadalquivir River and has bars, shops, public transportation, and restaurants
within walking distance. The Triana Bridge, Plaza de Armas Shopping Center, and Museum of Fine Arts are under a 15-minute walk away while the Seville Airport
and train station are about a 15-minute drive. Many popular destinations such as
Alcazar, Giralda, and the Seville Cathedral are about a 20-minute bus ride from
the hotel.
Rooms
Updated rooms with well-stocked minibars; some rooms have wonderful views
Compared to the common areas of the
hotel, rooms are much more plain in design. Tan zebra print bed runners add an
interesting pattern and there are large headboards made of different colored
woods. Average tan drapes hang with red chairs to accent, and all rooms have
brown carpet except for suites, which have hardwood flooring. Stocked minibars
have many different types of drinks and snacks, and there are free newspapers,
air-conditioning, trouser presses, flat-screen TVs, and in-room massages
available. Upgraded rooms have large terraces with seating and floor-to-ceiling
windows in addition to comfy bathrobes and slippers, coffeemakers, and jetted
tubs. Rooms with delightful river and city views are also available. Bathrooms are a good size with green and tan
tile as well as a decent amount of counter space. All have shower/tub combos,
magnifying mirrors, Ribera de Triana hotel amenities, and bidets.
Features
Fitness center with hot tub and steam bath, plus rooftop terrace and pool with gorgeous city views
Unlike many of the hotels in the area,
the Ribera de Triana Hotel offers a bunch of extras. Although the fitness
center is small with artificial grass carpeting, there are huge windows with views of
the river in addition to a good size hot tub and steam bath. Massages are also
available. A seasonal outdoor pool on the terrace level is on the smaller
side, but has a poolside bar (Level 5th) and lots of seating. Views
of the city and the river can be seen from this terrace area as well. The on-site restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine and another on-site bar has classic cocktails, snacks, coffees, and
teas. A traditional Mediterranean breakfast buffet is available for a fee and
receives mostly good reviews. This hotel is pet-friendly, but only dogs are
allowed and they incur a daily fee. There’s also a parking garage on-site, but
it has a daily fee as well. Wi-Fi though, is free, and there are concierge and
room services; room service has limited hours.
