With exterior walls painted peach and yellow, the Hotel Casa del Poeta is set in a handsome, three level stucco building in a classic Sevillan style. The inner courtyard and atrium opens up to the sky and is rife with potted ferns, ivy, and wicker chairs set throughout the brick-lined hallways. The decor inside includes exposed wooden beams and deep red walls in the first floor bar, and recessed lighting and bright, vaulted ceilings in the breakfast room for a highly intimate and romantic aesthetic throughout.

The top floor of the hotel courtyard overlooks the beautiful rooftop of the Santa Cruz cathedral, in the very heart of the Jewish quarter; the property itself is surrounded by some of the most beautiful and historical attractions in the city. Restaurants, shops, and bars abound in the surrounding streets. Those guests with limited mobility will want to note that the hotel is not immediately accessible by car, as it is set back from the street by a long cobblestone walkway, which can make the property difficult to find.

Linen, lavender, and dusky gray predominate the color scheme in the romantic, classical-style rooms outfitted with marble floors, cushioned wingback chairs, and some form of slightly playful recessed lighting, either behind a large decorative mirror, or inset into a staircase in the case of the larger rooms. Decor is simple, and consists of mirrored doors, the occasional gilt-detailed plinth with a vase, or draped curtains. Bathrooms may be on the small side; all have a walk-in shower with a glass door and a rainforest showerhead, marble floors, and a small toiletries kit in addition to bath products. Larger rooms may have the bathroom on a separate level. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, overhead reading lights in addition to bedside lamps, a digital safe, a fully stocked mini-fridge, a hairdryer, slippers, and a makeup mirror. Larger rooms have bathrobes.
