Offering all-inclusive rates, beach access, and 264 rooms and villas, the Richmond Ephesus Resort is one of several upscale hotels hugging this stretch of the Mediterranean, but parts of the resort feel and look dated. Amenities include four restaurants, four bars, and four pools, plus a spa offering an impressive range of treatments and saunas. Rooms are contemporary, with some lovely sea or mountain views, but not all have balconies, and smoking is allowed on some floors. With no shortage of activities for both kids and adults, the hotel is a reliable bet for families, but crowds and noise are consistent, especially in the summer, and there's little within walking distance. Aquafantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa nearby has similar, but more modern facilities, plus a full-blown water park.
