The 125-room Eos Village is a peaceful hotel in Sardinia located on a gorgeous, sandy beach with crystal clear water. There is a huge, serene pool, playground, and various sporting activities including tennis on-site. Rooms are large and comfortable with spacious balconies. The beach is home to a variety of activities too, including volleyball, bocce, and boating. A free breakfast is served everyday and there's a buffet-style restaurant with outdoor seating but there's a pesky fee for Wi-Fi and the hotel is located in a somewhat isolated area.
Scene
Friendly, relaxing beachside hotel
Eos Village is a great destination for families who want to get away from it all. People tend to come back year after year so there is a real sense of community among the guests. Small, Mediterranean-style villas are strewn among the lush, manicured grounds. The common areas are serene, with calming white walls, neutral-colored furniture, and lots of natural light. The large pool is a great place to kick back, with plenty of lounge chairs and outdoor dining, while the tiki umbrellas are a peaceful touch. The gorgeous beach is a real standout of the resort, with soft white sand, stunning turquoise water, and plenty of space to spread out. Even though Eos Village is relaxing, the atmosphere is also fun, with plenty of activities for both kids and adults.
Location
Remote, private, beachside property
This isolated beachside hotel is located in a quiet area in the Muravera region of Sardinia. The stonewall entrance is located off a quiet street near highway 125. The hotel is just a 30-minute drive from the popular Costa Rei beach and a 1 hour 15 minute drive from the historical, industrial Port of Cagliari. It is also just 1 1/2 hours from the airport.
Rooms
Spacious, Sardinian-style rooms with balconies
These sun-soaked rooms are charming, with typical Sardianian-style decor -- dark wood ceiling beams, terracotta-tiled floors, white walls, and simple but elegant furniture. They all come with flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, and safe. Guests can choose between a triple room, which comes with a double bed and a daybed or a quadruple room, which comes with a double bed and a small side room with two twin beds. Each of the rooms has a large covered balcony, with tiled floors and a wicker table and chairs. The bathrooms are simple and small, but clean with a narrow shower, hair dryer, and bidet.
Features
A myriad of activities, both sporty and relaxing
Guests can partake in a game of beach bocce or volleyball, paddle out to sea on a kayak, play on the soccer field and tennis court, explore the area on a bike or moped rental, or workout in the outdoor fitness center. One highlight here is the gorgeous white sandy beach. There's also a lagoon-shaped pool surrounded by lounge chairs and tiki umbrellas. A Massage Center provides massages. There is also plenty for kids to do, including a kid's club, nursery, playground, and special shallow end of the pool. At night, guests can enjoy entertaining performances from the animation team at the outdoor amphitheater.
