While this location is ideal for business travelers, it puts you a solid 15-minute drive away from most of Santiago's popular sites, restaurants, and shopping destinations.Santiago gets an unfair rap as being less happening than its other South American counterparts, but this couldn't be further from the truth. The city is incredibly dynamic with both modern and ancient buildings brushing up against one another -- much like Latin and European cultures blend to give the city its unique charm. The city's geography in itself is a huge plus: Santiago is lined with snowcapped mountains, and it's possible to ski and be on a beach in the same day.
