This hotel attracts a mature crowd and is geared toward couples looking for a quiet retreat. The hotel is known as a Malouine style villa, with a charismatic lobby that features maritime mahogany wooden furniture, deck chairs, and wooden floorboards. The on-site breakfast room is warm and inviting, with high-back cane chairs, grey textured wallpaper, and warm lighting, connected to a quaint bar area. There's an abundance of artwork for guests to enjoy, including Philip Plisson photographs, renowned as one of France's most famous ocean photographers, and sculptural rope and driftwood pieces. There's a contemporary outdoor terrace with sea views, and landscaped gardens with ample seating. The elegant Piano Lounge and Living Room has classic features like an ornate ceiling rose, open fireplace, and typical Breton and Starbay-style furniture. The bar attracts plenty of locals as well as hotel guests.

The hotel is located on a quiet residential street lined with classy mansions, a three-minute walk from Saint-Malo's main beach. There are several popular gourmet seafood and traditional Breton restaurants in the area. Guests are a 13-minute drive from Saint-Malo's historic center, which is heaving with pavement cafes, cider bars, and boutique shopping, but it's not within walking distance. The Condor Ferries terminal, with connections to the U.K., is just over 15 minutes away by road, and the Dinard-Pleurtuit-Saint-Malo Airport is around 20 minutes from the hotel. The Grand Aquarium is a 12-minute drive from the hotel, and Saint-Malo Cathedral, a Roman catholic church, is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Petit Be, an island that can be walked to at low tide, is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. 

There are 26 rooms available at the hotel that include Parame Triple Garden Rooms, Pointe Du Grouin Sea Side Rooms, and Cezembre Sea View Suites. The hotel can arrange connecting rooms and roll-away beds on request. All rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with dark varnished wooden headboards, light-filled windows that open, and ample storage for guest luggage. The style is a bit more simple and old-school than the hotel's maritime-chic common areas, including fusty patterned carpets and bedspreads, but subtle damask wallpaper looks sharp. Bathrooms are pristine and many are spacious, with granite vanities, wall-mounted hair-dryers, and stand-up showers or shower/tub combos with toiletries. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, bathrobes, guest slippers, minibars, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and safes. Rooms are not air-conditioned and some guests have reported hearing noise from neighboring rooms on occasion.
