Light and airy business hotel with a fast-paced, modern vibe
A modern, fast-paced vibe and a light, airy feel are the first impressions at UNA Hotel Roma: a pleasant business hotel that's kept bright by good natural light and ample cream and ivory accents. Plenty of corporate clientele frequent the hotel, especially during the week. Despite its relatively large size -- at 197 rooms -- guests are well-looked after, and customized preferences (such as setting a cooler room temperature for American guests in summer) are anticipated in advance. Staff at UNA Hotel Roma are Roman locals, giving the hotel an in-the-know vibe despite its all-business character. The neutral color palette, offset by elegant shades of white, also feels distinctly Italian: it’s a style that, while not entirely original, is commonly appreciated by previous guests. The hotel accommodates a generous fraction of business guests, especially those from Italy, along with leisure guests from the U.S., East Asia, and Australia.
Location
On a quieter street one block from Termini Station, walking distance to some attractions
Although Roma Termini Station is frequented by unsavory characters on occasion, UNA Hotel Roma’s location one block away feels safer and quieter. On the plus side, is its proximity to the station allows for quick airport transfers, easy access to train trips outside of Rome, as well as direct metro lines to the Spanish Steps (a six-minute journey), Trevi Fountain (11 minutes), and the Vatican (20 minutes). Other main attractions are within a fairly easy walk, including the Monti district with its boutiques and local restaurants (about a 15-minute walk). Piazza Venezia is best reached on foot (22 minutes), while the Colosseum is either an easy six-minute metro journey or 20-minute walk. Fiumicino Airport is an easy 35-minute train journey from Termini Station, while Ciampino Airport is best reached via a straightforward 45-minute bus journey or 30-minute taxi ride.

All rooms include desks, minibars, air-conditioning, satellite TVs, and both free Wi-Fi and safe access. Bathrooms are modern, with neutral shades accented by wood countertops, and either shower/tub combos or showers (higher category rooms have both).
Although the two entry-level categories - -Classic Rooms and Superior Rooms -- lack electric kettles, Superior Rooms come with free minibars and unlimited high-speed internet.
