Scene
Cheerful and charming
Located on the fourth floor of a renovated historic building, the QuodLibet is styled to a T. Behind the stone facade are bright yellow and red walls, and a mix of modern decor and antique throwbacks, such as wrought iron bannisters and thick wooden doors. The welcoming kitchen has black cabinets and appliances, and colorful artwork. The entire property has a bright, playful feel to it.
Location
Close to Vatican City, with other attractions easily accessible
The hotel is located in the city’s busy Prati neighborhood, which is full of shops and is only a five- to 15-minute walk to Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basiilica, and the Sistine Chapel. The Piazza Navona is about a 30- minute walk, and the Ottaviano-San Pietro metro stop is just a block away.
Rooms
Modern and colorful themed rooms
The air-conditioned rooms are comfortable and spacious, and furnished in a simple and modern way around each of the four seasons. The spring room has purples and pinks reminiscent of cherry blossoms, while the summer-themed room is a rainbow of primary colors. Autumn has one crimson wall, and a rustic wood headboard and furniture, and winter is icy blues, grays, and whites, with a bright red throw pillow. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, minibars, Nespresso coffee machines, and private bathrooms with large sinks, and glass-doored showers.
Features
Helpful hosts, breakfast and stocked kitchen
The service comes from the friendly and helpful owners, who provide plentiful advice on touring the city and restaurant recommendations. Aside from the large breakfasts, guests can help themselves to drinks, cookies, and snacks from the well-stocked kitchen.
