Scene

Simple, no-frills property with friendly staff

The hotel has a simple, homey vibe that begins at the welcoming entrance, a street-side patio with cheerful potted plants, simple wood tables, and woven chairs. The small, bright lobby has creamy-colored marble and orange tile floors, and a cozy seating area with wicker chairs. There’s not much more to the hotel except the sunny breakfast room. The general atmosphere is extremely familiar, with hoteliers Ines and Beppe often around to provide recommendations. Families will feel very comfortable here.

Location

In a popular residential area, two blocks from the beach

The hotel is in a busy, charming residential area of Rimini, a popular tourist destination on Italy's northeastern coast. Rivazzura beach is a couple of blocks away and there are plenty of shops and services around the corner. It’s about 20 minutes by bus from the center of Rimini and a five- to seven-minute walk from Rimini Miramare station. The airport is a 10-minute drive away.

Rooms

Clean and bright, with minimalist decor

The air-conditioned rooms are simply decorated in a modern style, with hardwood floors and cushioned squares in bright and pale purple in place of a headboard. The bathrooms, with bright yellow tile, are on the older side, but are perfectly functional, with small stall showers. All rooms have balconies, flat-screen TVs, safes, and hairdryers. Nonalcoholic drinks and snacks from the minibar are free. The rooms can get noise from the street at night.

Features

Large buffet breakfast, free beach towels and bike rentals

The hotel’s free buffet breakfast is four-star quality, with homemade cakes, sweets, and crepes, as well as omelets and pastas. While the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, the owners have been known to cook spaghetti or an prepare an aperitivo in the evening for guests in the lobby. Free beach towels and bike rentals are available.
