Based on the motel’s location, travelers should note that a car would be almost a requirement for getting around. Travelodge is within relatively easy driving distance of popular downtown tourist attractions. Bowen’s Wharf and the bustling downtown waterfront area are a 20-minute drive from the motel. The Historic District of Newport and Top of Newport -- the highest point in Newport -- are a 13-minute drive from the Travelodge.
