The 205 rooms at the Holiday Inn Rapid City -- which include Double Queen, King, and Executive Rooms decorated in soothing shades of beige, mauve, and teal -- were renovated in 2015. Light-wood walls back the beds and complement the light-wood furniture throughout. Some rooms have separate seating areas with couches and coffee tables. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, mini fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, and hairdryers in the bathrooms. Bathrooms are on the small side but have long vanities with lots of storage space, and curtained shower/tub combos. While the rooms are attractively arranged around an atrium, guests have complained about noise traveling from it, especially from the lobby bar.
