The three-pearl Westwood Shores Waterfront Resort is a lovely lakefront hotel located a few miles north of the town of Sturgeon Bay. Its 38 apartment-like suites are clean and spacious with separate living rooms, fully-equipped kitchens, and private balconies facing the water. Both outdoor and indoor pools and free usage of its small watercraft makes it popular with families. It is somewhat isolated, however, with no on-site restaurant or bar and not much within walking distance. Rates are fair, but not inexpensive; for an alternative in the heart of Sturgeon Bay with better rates, travelers might want to consider the Best Western Maritime Inn.
