Six South is a modern boutique hotel in Hanover; its prime location within walking distance of all parts of the Dartmouth campus make it a popular choice among visiting parents and alumni. Modern, spacious rooms have iPod docks, large flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi (although some may not appreciate the low lighting). The common areas -- such as the lobby (complete with reading nooks and free coffee) and the small fitness center -- are sleek and contemporary as well. Some still prefer the nearby historic Hanover Inn (which underwent a major renovation), but Six South's pet-friendly policies and fresh vibe add to its appeal.
