If saving money is a top priority, Comfort Inn Seekonk may fit the bill. It’s a budget chain hotel, which means basic rooms for cheap rates. But every room does have a mini-fridge and a microwave, which are nice perks in a no-frills sort of space. And an expanded continental breakfast is included daily, too, further amping up the value. But rooms at the Hampton Inn Seekonk are perhaps a tad nicer, so it's worth comparing prices.

As a budget chain hotel on a major roadway, there aren’t any scenic views, nor is the building historic with tons of character and unique architecture. But Comfort Inn Seekonk offers what travelers and families on a budget need -- a comfortable bed at a cheap rate, with a free breakfast thrown in for good measure. During the summer, the large outdoor pool (one of the largest in the area) is also open, giving families something to do when they're not out sightseeing.

While it’s actually located in Seekonk, a suburb of Providence (technically just over the border in Massachusetts), it's just a quick drive to downtown Providence. Plus, by staying outside of the city, you can enjoy room rates that are much cheaper.
