Pros
- Newly renovated boutique hotel with ultra-trendy decor
- Quiet, well-designed rooms with satellite TV and minibars
- Free buffet breakfast
- Lobby bar open hours a day
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
Bottom Line
This 37-room boutique hotel is a reasonably priced, fashion-forward base for exploring Prague. The quiet rooms have trendy decor (think chrome, glass, pear-shaped bathroom sinks), and the stylish lobby bar is open 24 hours a day, as is the front desk. The mid-range hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 20-minute walk to Wenceslas Square, so it's removed from the tourist crowds and noise, but it's also a full 30 minutes away from Old Town on foot. Travelers who want to be closer to Old Town can try the Design Hotel Josef, which has a similar atmosphere but higher rates.

Scene
Trendy lobby and bar with lots of white and exposed brick
From the outside, the low-key, cream-colored facade makes Pure White look like an ordinary apartment building. The interior is heavy on design and lives up to its name, with white walls, floors, furniture, and fixtures, and simple pendant lamps. Arched, exposed-brick ceilings and gray walls give the lobby bar some warmth. The space has plenty of gathering areas, including white banquettes and white upholstered stools at the bar, made of what looks like oxidized metal. The breakfast room has the feel of a trendy restaurant, with the large mirrors on the white walls making it look much larger than it is.
Location
In a quiet residential area close to Wenceslas Square, but far from Old Town
Pure White is located on a narrow side street in a quiet residential neighborhood. Trams and the metro run nearby, and it’s about a 25-minute ride, or 30-minute walk, to attractions in the Old Town, while Prague Castle is about 35 minutes away by tram. Wenceslas Square is a 20-minute walk. The Vaclav Havel Airport is a 25-minute drive, or about an hour via public transportation.
Rooms
Stylish, modern design in rooms free from noise
The 37 rooms have a modern design with chrome canopy beds and a funky Tetris-like art installation as a focal point. Rooms are mostly white and beige, except for chartreuse throw pillows and accent fabrics. Furniture includes sleek white desks, white built-in wardrobes, and nightstands covered in translucent fabric. Bathrooms have vessel sinks surrounded by sizable vanities, and green-walled shower stalls with rainfall showerheads. All rooms come equipped with flat-screen TVs, minibars, laptop-size safes, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and hairdryers. The rooms are quiet, allowing for a good night’s sleep.
Features
