Few common areas
The pet-friendly Hotel Suite Home Prague has 28 apartments with hotel-like amenities in a great central location. Many sights are within walking distance and there is a beer spa on the property with unique
treatments. The bright, airy rooms are classically designed with full-size refrigerators, ovens,
and dishwashers, and some have views of the Prague Castle from their balconies or
terraces. Bathrooms feel older and in some, the showers are quite small. The free breakfast in a charming breakfast room receives wonderful reviews and has a buffet plus a made-to-order menu, and there is a business
center in the lobby. There is no on-site fitness center or parking, but Wi-Fi is free throughout and two dogs or cats are allowed per room.
Scene
A modern yet cozy apartment hotel
The Hotel Suite Home Prague feels like an apartment building, but with the additional benefits of a hotel -- such as free breakfast. The lobby has a combination of classic and modern design in contemporary light fixtures, wood floors, and comfy white bench seating. The breakfast room feels more cozy and intimate with cream walls and light wood topped tables and chairs. A
flat-screen TV resides in the dark wood built-in in the lobby. The
atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, but there are not many common areas
since the hotel allots much of its space to the apartments, complete with living and dining areas.
Location
In Prague's New Town where many sights are within walking distance
The Hotel Suite Home Prague is located on a busy street in Nove Mesto (New Town). A small park resides at the end of the road and
restaurants, shops, and public transportation are within walking distance.
Charles Square, the Prague Opera, Wenceslas Square, and the Czech National
Museum are under a 15-minute walk from the hotel while major sights such as Old
Town and the Charles Bridge are about a 15-minute tram ride away.
Rooms
Comfy and classic apartments feature full kitchens; some rooms have marvelous views.
Since this hotel is an apartment hotel, there
are many different individual apartment options available. All spaces are large
with living rooms and full kitchens, and some rooms can accommodate up to seven
people (great for families). The style is classic yet simple with herringbone wood floors, floral and
fruit artwork, and red light fixtures. The bright, airy spaces have white sheets, tan pillows, and
red drapes. Antique light fixtures hang in the
common spaces of the rooms and there are blue armchairs or red couches
providing extra seating. Coffee/tea making items and 32-inch
flat-screen TVs are in all rooms, but the air-conditioning units are solely in the living areas, which makes some rooms hot. Minibar items are
included in the full-size refrigerators in the kitchens. Kitchens also have dishwashers, ovens, and microwaves (the latter available on request). Some rooms have great balconies
or terraces with exceptional views of Prague Castle or historic buildings.
Bathrooms are somewhat older, outfitted in tan tile and green/gray floors, and there is a
mixture of shower/tubs, tubs without shower curtains, and tiny walk-in showers
among the different room types. All bathrooms have white sinks attached to the walls and small glass shelves with little counter space.
Features
Excellent free breakfast and beer spa on property
Guests rave about the free breakfast,
which can be served in-room, and has both a buffet and made-to-order menu. Fruits, veggies,
ham, cheeses, and pastries line the buffet while scrambled eggs, bacon, and
waffles can be ordered off the menu. On the same plot of property is the Spa
Beer Land with handmade oak tubs, homemade beer bread, unlimited light or dark
Krušovice beer, and a Hop Sauna. Guests who book through the Hotel Suite Home
Prague receive a free beer. There is a business center on-site with a computer
and printer, but no on-site fitness center or parking; however, guests receive
a discount at a nearby fitness center and there is public parking within
walking distance. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
