An elegant boutique kosher "Le Mehadrin" hotel
Hotel King David is housed in an elegant five-story neoclassical building located on a busy street corner. The entrance is through a set of large double doors and up a staircase to the reception area. Renovated in 2014, the hotel is well-maintained and the ambience is elegant and tasteful, with white marble floors, high ceilings, and chandeliers. A cafe and lobby bar, with high-backed purple velour armchairs, serves snacks, sandwiches, desserts, and wines. The hotel's main restaurant, Kosher Le Mehadrin, is known for its high-quality buffets and Shabbat meals. The hotel is popular with couples and families, especially those seeking to keep kosher while traveling.
Location
Located on a busy street close to train and subway stations
Hotel King David is located on the corner of a busy intersection. Most of the major attractions, such as Prague Castle and the Old Jewish Cemetery, aren't in walking distance and require a taxi or a ride on public transportation. However, transportation links are excellent -- the main train and bus station is almost next door, and no fewer than three subway stations are within walking distance. - One-minute walk to main train and bus station
