Lion, an inn just outside one of the city's original gates; now, it mostly attracts tourist couples looking for a charming and affordable place to stay in a convenient location. The hallways are a bit dated in style, with stenciled designs on the walls and patterned red carpeting, but the dining
areas are more pleasant; the lobby is barely more than a check-in desk. The restaurant is located in the historic cellar, complete with arched stone ceilings and romantic lighting. Tapered candles and a red and dark-wood color scheme only add to the romance, and there’s a small wooden bar. The breakfast room is brighter and livelier, with wooden floors and brushed
yellow and rose-colored walls. In warm weather, the hotel has a terrace where guests can enjoy breakfast outdoors.

shops nearby. There’s a tram stop just a short walk away; Prague Castle can be
reached in less than 15 minutes by tram. The airport is less than a 30-minute
drive away.
