Aparthotel City 5

Aparthotel City 5 has a pink exterior and a bright yellow lobby decorated with a piano, plush toy giraffes and tigers, and tons of plants, giving it a jungle-like feel. The vibrant, casual cafe/bar also has yellow walls accented with gray floral designs and black-and-white photos of Prague. Wooden benches covered with striped fabric offer guests a spot to sit and enjoy a local beer or daily breakfast. A metal staircase brings guests down to a multi-purpose area with bold and bright paintings on the walls. There’s a huge parrot painted on a wall near a ping pong table, and an ocean mural is featured on a wall of a room that has an exercise bike and a punching bag. The play areas for kids consist of a plastic playhouse in a room with a large world map and a toy room with stuffed animals and building blocks. Outside, a small garden offers guests a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. 

The hotel is tucked between two other buildings on a street a little over two blocks away from the Vltava River. The metro stop and the Andel shopping center -- with clothing stores and a cinema -- are both within a five-minute walk, and there is a supermarket within a six-minute walk. The city's Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock is a 10-minute drive or 15-minute metro ride away. The airport is less than a 25-minute drive, and the hotel can arrange transportation for a fee. Note that there isn't any parking on-site. 

The apartment-like rooms at the hotel are large and have white tile floors. Saffron-colored bedding and pictures of brightly hued flowers on the wall give the spaces some cheery character. Rooms have dining tables and kitchenettes with small sinks, hot plates, refrigerators with freezers, and kettles. Wooden cabinets and drawers are stocked with cookware and dinnerware. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are tiny and have walk-in showers and heated towel racks.

The lobby at Aparthotel City 5 has a lot of plants, a piano, and a bookshelf with a wide selection of books for guests to read. An outdoor garden with a seating area surrounded by vines and plants offers guests an outdoor space to relax or socialize. There’s a cafe/bar where breakfast is served for a fee, and drinks and local beer are available later in the day. The cafe also has a computer with an Internet connection for guest use, Wi-Fi is free throughout. There's also a recreational area with an exercise bike, a ping pong table, and a children’s play area. The hotel provides laundry services and airport transfers for a fee.
