The Pueblito Luxury Condo Hotel is a condo property with wide-open spaces, a pleasantly landscaped garden, well-maintained grounds, and elevators leading to upper-floor rooms. Common area decor is dominated by lots of cream-colored marble matched with chocolate-brown sofas and trim and a mix of darker wood furniture. Rusty red accent walls and decorative panels add warmth to the space. Expect plenty of flagstone in the public areas, as well as river-rock accents and natural-stone trim. While the property is pleasant, it lacks the facilities of a hotel, instead targeting travelers, including families, couples, and groups of friends, who want a home-like feel. While the vibe is usually pretty relaxed, it can get rowdy with partiers here at times.

Pueblito Luxury Condohotel is situated across from a northern section of Playa del Carmen's beach that gets fewer tourists than some of the more central areas. It's not right on the sand -- the bungalows lining the beach around here belong to the pricier Mahekal Beach Resort -- but it's about a 30-second walk away. It's also about a 10-minute walk from Mamita's Beach Club and KoolBeach Club, where guests get discounts. The famous 5th Avenue strip is around a five-minute walk from the hotel. From there, one can find dozens of restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops. The ADO bus station is around 25 minutes away on foot, while getting to the airport in Cancun takes about an hour by car.

Pueblito offers 40 privately owned condos, and while they all follow similar decor themes, there is some slight variation from unit to unit, depending on owner preferences. Expect to find wide-open spaces with tile floors modern furniture, granite countertops, hardwood trim, Persian blinds, balconies, and artwork. Muted cream is the primary color, with natural wood as the backdrop. All condos are fully furnished, with flat-screen TVs and safes, plus kitchens equipped with full-size fridges, stoves, and microwaves, at a minimum. The property provides guests with a couple of bottles of water on arrival, and while rooms have coffeemakers, coffee costs extra (but is provided in rooms, minibar style). Bathrooms are simple, with tile floors and matching walk-in showers. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided, as are beach towels.
