The 241-room, upper-mid-range Peach Hill Hotel & Resort is a family-friendly spa resort located on a hill on the west coast of Phuket, with gorgeous
views of the mountains and the Andaman Sea. Peach Hill sits just above Kata and
Karon Beaches, with a free beach shuttle to the former, but it also has three lagoon-style pools (two with swim-up bars) for those who want to hang out at the hotel and take in the views. The three restaurants all serve organic, locally sourced cuisine. Rooms are breezy and spacious, although housekeeping can be spotty and there's a fee for in-room Wi-Fi.

Peach Hill Hotel and Resort is a contemporary property with an authentic Thai vibe and impressive views of the surrounding mountains and sea. The decor is steeped in
Thai tradition, but with a modern twist: jewel-toned colors, rich woods,
and clean-lines furniture can be found in the restaurants, common areas, and rooms, with artwork
that reflects the local Buddhist culture and history. There are three outdoor
pools, each slightly different in character, but all are extravagantly landscaped, with
overhanging palms and ferns, rustic wooden decks, palapas, and fountains. A
vibrant whale sculpture is a highlight of the main pool area -- which is the most family-friendly -- as is the swim-up bar.
The lobby has soaring ceilings, with gold leaf accents that are reminiscent of
a Thai temple, and hanging globe lights that make the space glow. A new wing
has a separate lobby done in all-white formica with modern picture
windows that make the green jungle outside seem to be part of the space’s
architecture. Each restaurant and bar has a different decorative theme, but all
are bright, spacious, and breezy, with a rich, comfortable feel.

Atop a steep hill, near amazing beaches -- and a Starbucks
Peach Hill Hotel & Resort is located
between Kata Noi Beach and Karon Beach, up a steep hill, with impressive views
of the mountains and the Andaman Sea. Kata Noi Beach is a 10-minute walk (or five-minute free shuttle ride) from
the hotel, and Karon and Temple Beaches are between 15 and 20 minutes’
walk each. Patong’s busy beach is a 15-minute drive away, as well. There are many
big resorts in the surrounding area, with plenty of nearby activities,
including miniature golf, and a Starbucks. Phuket Airport is a 45-minute drive from Peach Hill. The hotel has free parking. Note that some guests may find the climb to and from the hotel difficult.

Rooms at Peach Hill Hotel & Resort are decorated in a contemporary Thai aesthetic, with plenty of space and
furnished private balconies overlooking the gardens, pools, or sea. Peach
Hill offers suites, villas, and regular rooms, all large enough to have sitting areas; rooms vary in style, but all have hardwood floors, clean-lined furnishings, and modern Thai accent pieces. Some higher-tier rooms have romantic whirlpool tubs on their private balconies. Bathrooms are
spacious and modern -- some with granite countertops, others with colorful shower tiling -- with separate tubs and showers. Beds are furnished
with pillow-top mattresses and have striking wooden headboards. All rooms come with cable-equipped, flat-screen TVs, coffee and tea facilities, minibars, and air-conditioning. Connecting rooms are available upon
request. Some guests complain of inconsistent housekeeping, and in-room Wi-Fi is only available for a fee.

offers Ayurvedic and aromatherapy treatments, facials, massage, a steam room and a sauna, all in a lovely restorative setting filled with tropical flowers, stone
reliefs, wood carvings, and luxe modern fixtures. The hotel also has meeting and event spaces, and a small business center. Supervised activities for children are held regularly, for a fee.
