outpost of the Ibis chain, and has that generic feel but is clean and airy,
with plenty of space in the lobby. There is little to no local character or
Thai vibe here, but the courtyard pool is surrounded by shady palm
trees. The ibis is relaxed, casual, and functional, with food and drink
available around the clock. The
bar is in the lobby, and the pool is right outside the
picture windows, which add to the bustle of the place.

Surrounded by restaurants and shops, five minutes' walk to Patong Beach
The ibis Phuket Patong is located at the
quieter north end of Patong, on a side street off the beach, surrounded by
restaurants, massage outposts, and great street shopping. The hustle and town noise doesn’t penetrate the hotel walls, and security is vigilant. Patong
Beach is a five minute walk from the ibis, and the nightlife destinations on Bangla
Road are within a 10-minute walk. Central Patong is a five- to 10-minute walk. The Phuket Airport is about a 45-minute drive.

with fun bunk beds for the kids. Otherwise, the decor is basic and functional,
with lots of laminated wood and built-in furniture. Bathrooms are tiny, with
narrow (but clean) shower stalls and limited toiletries. The rooms are a good place to sleep,
but they're too small to spend a lot of time hanging out in.
