The eco-friendly, upper-middle-range Thai Garden Resort, with 227 rooms, is in a safe neighborhood in north Pattaya, just a 10-minute walk from Pattaya Beach. Contemporary Thai-Burmese style rooms have large walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads, and most have furnished terraces. But, guests of low-level garden rooms sometimes find unwanted lizards, mosquitoes, and bees. The lovely outdoor pool and kids' pool are popular with families and couples, and the on-site restaurant’s breakfast buffet offers a wide selection with excellent reviews. No spa, fitness center, or elevators are available, however. Guest should also consider the Fairtex Sports Club Hotel, with lower rates, a spa, and extensive sports facilities.

A six-acre tropical garden with beautiful statues, flowers, and manicured shrubs surrounds the peaceful Thai Garden Resort, composed of traditional white buildings with red roofs. Neutral tile and furniture bring out a modern edge in the open-air, comfortable common areas while authentic Thai statues and light fixtures harken an antique vibe. Most guests here are German and Dutch couples and families, with the occasional business traveler staying here as well.

The Thai Garden Resort is on an unattractive block in a safe neighborhood in northern Pattaya, across the street from the World Gems Collection. Tiffany’s Show and Art in Paradise are around a five-minute walk away, while Central Center Pattaya and Pattaya Beach are 10 minutes by foot. Central Festival and The Sanctuary of Truth, as well as Walking Street, are within a 15-minute drive, but the closest airport, Utapao International Airport, is 45 minutes away by car. Suvarnabhumi Airport is a one-hour-and-25-minute drive away.

A range of Standard Rooms are offered in addition to Bungalows and One- or Two-Bedroom Apartments, and all have a modern Thai-Burmese style that borders on bland. Light tile, pod lights, and ceilings accent the modern elements while wood tones, nature paintings, and carved art pieces have a traditional Thai feel. Mini-fridges with free bottled water are in all air-conditioned rooms, as are 32-inch flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided. Most rooms have furnished terraces, some with lovely garden views.
Apartments feature separate living areas with kitchenettes including microwaves, sinks, coffeemakers, and full-size refrigerators. However, low-level rooms on the garden side have occasional lizards, bees, and mosquitoes. Thai Garden Resort toiletries and soap dispensers are provided in the showers, but no rooms have tubs.
